Keep it simple

Rangoli is the traditional art of painting on the floor. For a history of Rangoli click here and here

I came across this design on a temple floor. Simple but eye catching….

  1. The floor painting dazzles my eyes! Utterly lovely!

Yellow or red—which shall it be?
Red for you and yellow for me?

Perhaps you’d rather have yellow instead—
Which leaves me, of course, with handfuls of red!

Whichever hue you decide to choose,
I’ll take the other—no one will lose!

  2. I’m going to have to use your link and go read up on this form of art!! How interesting.

WINGS!! [a short, slideshow video of hummingbirds feeding and playing]

Have a great Tuesday. Hope you can find time to stop by and shout out a ‘howdy do’.

  3. Ps….regarding your question about crepe myrtle being edible?!! I’m really not sure. I see birds eating the seed…but I guess that doesn’t mean we humans should consume them, right?

Might not give u a penny for your thoughts but will read them for sure..
